About Mauloa Moments
Mau Loa is a Hawaiian word meaning forever - a reflection of connection, legacy, and moments that live on long after they’ve passed.
Mau Loa Moments is a Maui-based photography studio dedicated to capturing real connection: shared laughter, quiet in-between moments, and the natural movement that makes each story feel genuine and alive. Every session is intentionally relaxed and thoughtfully guided, allowing you to be fully present - never stiff, never overly posed, just honestly you.
Hi, I’m Steph
I’m the founder and lead photographer behind Mauloa Moments.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Styling and Photography from the London College of Fashion and bring over 15 years of professional experience behind the camera. For the past six years, my work has been deeply focused on family portraits, couples, and meaningful life moments, photographed across Hawaiʻi and internationally.
This business originally began on Oʻahu under a different name, shaped by years of living and working throughout the Hawaiian Islands - including Maui, where I’m now based again.
Mauloa Moments is the natural continuation and refinement of that journey: more intentional, more grounded, and more aligned with the way I photograph today.
